This policy explains how Peterborough Cleaning Services INC collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects your information when you visit this site, book a service, or contact us.

Information we collect

When you book a service we collect the information needed to deliver it: your name, email address, phone number, service address, access instructions, and any notes you choose to share about your home.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number, only a secure token that lets us charge the agreed amount after your cleaning is complete.

We also collect basic technical information when you visit this site, such as pages viewed and general location, to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

We use your information to schedule and deliver your cleaning, to communicate with you about your bookings, to process payment, and to respond when you contact us.

If you have opted in, we may send occasional offers or updates. Every such message includes a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects your service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who we share it with

Your name, address and access instructions are shared with the cleaning professional assigned to your home, so they can complete the visit.

We use third-party providers for booking, payment processing, email delivery and website analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound to protect it.

We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of our clients and staff.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and invoice records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations in Ontario and federally.

You can ask us to delete information that we are not legally required to retain.

Your rights

Under Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA) you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, withdraw consent to marketing communications, or request deletion where we are not required to keep it. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Photographs and call recordings

We take before-and-after photographs of completed work, used for marketing and as a record of the work done. They remain our property, and we do not publish anything that identifies your address or reveals your personal information. Tell us if you would rather we did not photograph your home.

Calls to and from the office may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

Security

Our booking and payment pages use SSL encryption. Access to client information is limited to the people who need it to deliver or support your service.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to remember your preferences and to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
